Website delivery and server logs
When this website is accessed, the hosting server may process technically necessary connection data. This can include the IP address, time of access, requested file, transferred data volume, referring page, browser information, operating system and HTTP status.
Where required, processing is based on Article 6 paragraph 1 letter f of the GDPR. The legitimate interest is the secure and stable operation of the website and protection against misuse. The hosting provider may receive this data as processor.
Contact
When you contact me by email or telephone, the information you provide is processed in order to handle your request. The legal basis is Article 6 paragraph 1 letter b of the GDPR where the communication concerns a potential employment or contractual relationship. In other cases, processing is based on Article 6 paragraph 1 letter f of the GDPR.
Contact page input function
The input function does not transmit form data to this website. It creates an email link in your browser and opens the email application configured on your device. Data is only sent when you send the email yourself.
Protected document area
Selected recipients may receive individual access to a CV, employment references, qualification certificates and other application documents. The service may process the recipient's name, organisation, email address, authorised documents, period of validity, download limit and access status.
Access events such as opening the link, successful authorisation and document downloads are associated with the relevant access record. The application does not additionally store IP addresses or browser fingerprints for this purpose. Standard hosting logs may still arise.
A technically necessary session cookie is used for the protected area. It is used only to assign the active permission during use.
External services
This version of the website does not use analytics, advertising or profiling services. It does not load external fonts and does not embed external maps, videos or social media plugins.
Your rights
Subject to the legal requirements, you may have rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection. You may also complain to a competent data protection authority.
Security
The website and document area should only be operated over HTTPS. Confidential documents are stored outside the publicly accessible web directory and delivered only after server side authorisation.
Language and status
The German privacy notice is the primary version. This English version is provided for ease of understanding. The hosting details and actual log retention settings should be checked before publication.
